While I use the post-punk label somewhat loosely, I think it’s a good fit.
I started recording music in high school, but I’ve lost most of those recordings. Initially, I wanted to make songs that sounded like the Arctic Monkeys, but I didn’t know how to do that. Maybe the five biggest influences on me would be Metric, Kino, Weezer, Dream Theater, and Joji.
When I worked at 7-11 I made friends with my coworker and we started a band called Phoebe and the Nurses (we aren’t nurses (there was no Phoebe). The band has been revived as Phoebe And The Nurse (we are down a nurse) and we're currently working on some new music.
I have also worked on music for My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend: Lost Media.
Maybe someday I’ll make something really good. Thanks for tuning in.
